Free chime sounds you can shape with AI

These soft chimes suit messages and timers. The set includes a single long note and a full porch of wind chimes. The editor lets you set how many notes a chime has, how far apart they fall and how long they ring. Your AI agent turns a mood such as calm or playful into a chime you shape together.

Sounds from an AI assistant

Notify Sound works as an MCP server for AI assistants. The assistant designs every layer of a sound and returns a link. The link opens that sound in the editor.

Example prompt after installation

The assistant takes a plain request like this one, once Notify Sound is connected.

Use Notify Sound to make a calm three-note chime for the end of a focus timer, soft and airy with a long tail. Send me the link.

A calm chime for your iPhone or Android notifications

A chime is a gentle alternative to an alert tone that makes you jump. Chime and Inbox Chime are soft enough to hear all day on an iPhone or an Android phone, and long enough to notice.

Chimes for Slack, Teams and calendar reminders

On Android, a chime can belong to one app only, so Teams meetings and Slack messages sound different. Friend Online and Cabin Chime sound friendly and unhurried.

Meditation, focus and sleep apps

Wind Chimes and Marimba can start and end a session in a meditation or focus app. They are royalty-free and free for commercial use with credit, so they can ship inside an app you sell.

A chime for video intros and presentations

A short chime fits under a logo in a YouTube intro or a slide change in a presentation. Set the notes yourself, and the chime becomes your own jingle.

Shaping a chime

How do I make a chime with two or three notes?

Add one layer for each note, and move each note later with Start after. Cabin Chime starts its second note 0.48 seconds after the first. Wind Chimes spreads twelve notes over two seconds.

How do I make a chime calmer?

Lower the Pitch, keep Wave shape on sine, and turn Treble down. Then raise the effect Amount. Chime uses Chamber at 0.5, which gives it a long hall tail.

What is the difference between a chime and a bell here?

The sounds on the Bell page strike with a short burst of noise and add a note that clashes. A chime leaves both out, so it starts soft and rings clean.

Make your own sounds

  • Stack layers of tone or noise and shape each one with its own sliders.
  • Change pitch, length, echo and tone while the sound loops, so you hear every move.
  • Save to your library, share a link, and download the sound when it sounds right.
