Free ding sound effects you can shape with AI
The set has a clean elevator ding, a doorbell ding-dong and a cash register. Each ding is built from two or three synth notes. The editor lets you change how bright a ding is and how long it rings. Your AI agent builds a ding for your app from a short description.

Sounds from an AI assistant
Notify Sound works as an MCP server for AI assistants. The assistant designs every layer of a sound and returns a link. The link opens that sound in the editor.

Example prompt after installation
The assistant takes a plain request like this one, once Notify Sound is connected.
Use Notify Sound to make a bright elevator-style ding for when a download finishes. Send me the link.
Use a ding as your iPhone or Android notification
A short, bright ding is the classic message alert. Soft Ping and Two-Note Hello make good text tones on an iPhone or an Android phone. Tri-Tone plays three rising notes that people already know as a new message.
A correct answer ding for TikTok and YouTube videos
Quiz clips and tutorials use a ding to mark a right answer or a point scored. These dings are made with a synth, with no samples, so they are royalty-free and free for commercial use with credit.
A success sound for your app or game
Ka-Ching marks a payment, Level Up marks a cleared level, and Timer Done marks a finished task. All three fit an app, a web page or a Unity or Godot game.
Dings for Discord and Slack
A one-second ding fits a Discord soundboard. On Android, a ding can be the sound of your Slack or Discord messages. A small change to the Pitch slider makes the ding your own.
Shaping a ding
How do I make a ding ring longer?
Open Ding and raise Ring out, then Decay. Ding has two layers: a sine note at 1,047 Hz and a triangle note one octave above. The ding has a warm tail when the lower layer gets the most length.
Why does my ding sound cheap?
A ding that stops too fast sounds like a toy. Set Ring out to at least half a second and add a little Reverb. Microwave Done stops hard on purpose, because a microwave does.
How do I make a ding sound like a correct answer?
Use two notes that step up. Add a second layer, set its Pitch a few notes higher, and set its Start after to about 0.12 seconds. Tri-Tone steps up with three notes. Tri-Tone Down steps down, and it sounds like a no.
Make your own sounds
- Stack layers of tone or noise and shape each one with its own sliders.
- Change pitch, length, echo and tone while the sound loops, so you hear every move.
- Save to your library, share a link, and download the sound when it sounds right.
