Free spooky sound effects for Halloween
The collection covers ghosts, howls, creaks, cackles and the wavering theremin of old horror films. Every sound is made from plain synth waves. The editor can make any of them slower and lower. Your AI agent can summon something eerie and shape it with you.

Example prompt after installation
The assistant takes a plain request like this one, once Notify Sound is connected.
Use Notify Sound to make a ghostly whoosh for a Halloween notification, low and wavering. Send me the link.
Halloween sound effects for TikTok and YouTube videos
Jump Scare fits a prank and Witch Cackle a costume reveal. Door Creak works under a slow pan. No sound uses a film sample, so all of them are royalty-free and free for commercial use with credit.
A Halloween party, a doorbell or a haunted house
Rattling Chains can loop in a dark hallway, and Evil Laugh can greet trick-or-treaters. A speaker in the bushes is a good spot for Ghost Woo.
Horror games
Zombie Groan, Panic Heartbeat and Thunder Crack fit a horror game in Unity or Godot. A slower version of each sounds even scarier.
Spooky alerts for Twitch, Discord and your phone
Wolf Howl works as a follower alert on Twitch, and Boo Blip fits a Discord soundboard. Spirit Yes makes an October notification on an iPhone or an Android phone.
Shaping a spooky sound
How is the ghost made?
Ghost Woo is two sine notes with a slow Attack of a quarter of a second. The first note slides up, and the second slides down. Wobble shakes the pitch. A soft noise layer adds breath, and Reverb adds the room.
How is the theremin sound made?
Horror Theme uses only sine waves, with Wobble at 0.1 and a touch of Flutter. Every note has a Slide, so each one glides into the next. Raise Wobble speed for a shakier sound.
Make your own sounds
- Stack layers of tone or noise and shape each one with its own sliders.
- Change pitch, length, echo and tone while the sound loops, so you hear every move.
- Save to your library, share a link, and download the sound when it sounds right.
