Free text message notification sounds
These soft, short tones are made for chats and inboxes, for a message arriving, a message sent or a friend coming online. A message tone rings many times a day, so it is worth shaping into your own in the editor. Your AI agent can shape a personal text tone together with you.

The assistant takes a plain request like this one, once Notify Sound is connected.
Use Notify Sound to make a friendly text tone that sounds like two quick bubbles popping. Send me the link.
A text tone for your iPhone, Android or Samsung phone
Every sound here is short and soft enough to be a text tone or message alert on an iPhone, an Android phone or a Samsung Galaxy. Each one saves as MP3.
Message sounds for WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack and Discord
On Android, each chat app can have its own message tone. Bubble Up can mark WhatsApp and Quick Reply can mark Telegram. Group Buzz suits a busy Discord server, and Gentle Nudge suits Slack at work.
Sent and received sounds for a chat in your own app
Message Sent and Message Landed are a matched pair. Typing Done and Friend Online cover the rest of a chat screen. The tones are royalty-free and free for commercial use with credit.
Shaping a message tone
What makes a good message tone?
A good message tone lasts under a second and has one or two soft notes. Soft Ping is a good model: a sine note at 1,175 Hz with two quieter notes above it. If a tone starts to annoy you, lower its Pitch and turn Treble down.
Make your own sounds
- Stack layers of tone or noise and shape each one with its own sliders.
- Change pitch, length, echo and tone while the sound loops, so you hear every move.
- Save to your library, share a link, and download the sound when it sounds right.
